DuPage United and the Fox River Valley Initiative are hosting a series of three two-hour training sessions this fall for people who want to learn three skills needed for public life. The first session is on Accountability, which means how to hold ourselves and others accountable for doing what we say we want to do. The second is on effectiveness, which means how to build and exercise our power in a ways that accomplishes our goals. The third is on strategic thinking, which means how to come up with creative ways of addressing problems.
