On October 27th from 7- 8:30 pm, DuPage United will host a very important Zoom Action with the 12 candidates running for the DuPage County Board. At this Action we will focus on bringing more affordable, accessible and supportive housing to our county. Each year, the six districts in DuPage County elect one of their three board members. After laying out the need for affordable housing, the group on the Zoom Action will divide into six breakout rooms based on those who are on the call from their districts. One of the things we will be asking the candidates is whether they will support affordable housing specifically a development similar to 1212 Larkin in Elgin (read about it in New & Events).
